My name is Tristan Hearth, I am a sophomore of East Islip High School, and I have a dream to bring the newspaper back to life.  I need your help to fulfill that dream.

A newspaper is an amazing way for students to express themselves while simultaneously taking an active role in their community.  In the newspaper, all parts of the school district will be covered including, but not limited to: The most recent achievements of the art department, the recent victories of the many sports teams of EI, the awards of the music program, and current events of East Islip.  The newspaper will be a place for every member of this school community to share the events that excite them, and every participant will have a place to shine. 

Every good school has a newspaper, and I believe that East Islip is not complete without one.  In its day, the newspaper was award-winning, and the contributors would commonly go to conferences for their work.  All we need are passionate students with the talent and drive to work toward making East Islip's newspaper amazing.  I believe it can be done, but I need your help!
