The Shady Oak country Inn is facing an uncertain future due to the road which they are situated next to being closed till September at least for essential roadworks repairing the road. 

This road closure means that passing customers are unable to drive to The Shady Oak Country Inn, Whaley Bridge and they face losing approximately 80% of their income and they aren't entitled to compensation according government law. 

After the past two years of little custom due to Covid when the road could have been repaired during these quiet months it now seems heartbreaking for the owners that they now face having no passing customers till at least September. 

Let's try to change the Government law on passing customers/trade so if your business is affected by a road closure which directly affects your income then you should be entitled to compensation.
