A WHEELCHAIR USER FOR 23YRS IS INVOLVED IN A RTC IN APRIL 2021 WHILST RIDING HER HORSE ON THE ROADS
One of our members appeared in probably the greatest advert involving horses. Google Lloyd's Banks 250th anniversary.
Susi Marguite a wheelchair user for 23 years appeared in this advert. In her words "my only lifeline away from the wheelchair is horse riding".
This is what happened to her on 19th April 2021 and the police are taking no action!!!
"I was riding back and very nearly home. The volvo behind me was tailgating. This is a single track lane and I gestured to him to the gateway ahead I was going to pull in for a safe pass.
No.
He put his foot down and bulldozed his way through, hitting my horse and trapping me between vehicle and horse. As I fell, the vehicle dragged me for 20 metres before he stopped.
Reaction?
Driver and his mate got out. Hands in pockets, standing over me kicking stones.
What are you doing down there?
Stop making a scene.
Horses shouldn't be on the road.

You've made us late for an appointment with the vicar.
I was spinal boarded to A&E
Head injuries
Chipped elbow, shoulder, chest injuries. The whole of my right side scrapped and bleeding.
My hat was smashed as my head hit his side window and bounced on the road.
My horse suffered neck injuries and scrapes along her side.
We are both still suffering today.
Police handed the case to Road Traffic Justice. RTJ closed the case. No independent witnesses.
