Pass Tyler’s Law to Protect our Children 🧸

The Issue

Tyler Jonathan had a beautiful crooked smile and a gentle manner that brought so much love and joy. Tragically, he died before he could celebrate his first Christmas due to a preventable tragedy caused by a child safety product. No parent should have to endure the loss of a child to something that could have been avoided. It is time to turn this profound tragedy into triumph.

That is why Tyler's legacy is a crucial call to action to prevent other families from enduring such heartbreaking and preventable losses. Tyler’s Law (H.R.4340 - 119th Congress 2025-2026) is bipartisan legislation designed to protect our children. Reintroduced on July 10th, 2025, it mandates hospitals or coroners report any serious injury or death of a child potentially caused by child safety products to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), helping to save children’s lives.

Every year, thousands of children are involved in incidents involving unsafe child products. According to the CPSC, more than 40,000 cases involving children and safety products require urgent attention annually. By implementing Tyler’s Law, we ensure swift communication of these incidents to regulatory authorities, thereby preventing further occurrences.

Despite broad support, Tyler’s Law is currently awaiting a vote in both the House and Senate. We cannot afford to delay this critical legislation any longer. Our children's safety must be a top priority and requires immediate, bipartisan commitment.

Join me in urging congress to act swiftly and decisively. By supporting Tyler’s Law, we can honor all the lives lost and make sure Tyler's legacy is one of saving lives, not losing them.

Sign this petition and add your voice to help pass Tyler's Law. Together, we can protect all children and ensure no family experiences the preventable loss of a child again.
