l've learned something through all of this: The louder a message becomes, the more uncomfortable it makes the people who never wanted it spoken about in the first place. But I'm not backing down. I'm continuing because disabled handlers and service dogs deserve better protections, better understanding, and better outcomes than what currently exists. People can roll their eyes. They can leave negative comments. They can try to discredit me. They can tell me to "move on." But advocacy was never supposed to be convenient. Real change happens when people stop being afraid of uncomfortable conversations.
