I’m sharing part of what’s happening behind the scenes—and why it matters. I want to make something very clear. This was never just about me or Tiny. Yes, this started with our experience but what I’ve learned through this process is that it’s much bigger than that. This is about the rights, safety, and protection of every person who relies on a service animal. It’s also about transparency because without it, there is no accountability. A lot of people have asked what I’ve been doing behind the scenes, so here’s part of that process: In Utah, we use something called GRAMA (Government Records Access and Management Act) to request records from local and state agencies like police departments, cities, and counties. FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) applies to federal agencies like the FBI or Department of Justice. Using this process, I’ve been filing GRAMA requests to obtain documentation, reports, and evidence. This process is not about making accusations it’s about making sure the facts are documented, preserved, and reviewed properly. These laws exist so everyday people have a way to ask questions and get answers. This isn’t about anger. This isn’t about blame. This is about making sure no one else is put in a position where they have to defend their disability, explain their medical needs, or fear losing their service dog during a police encounter. That’s why I’m fighting for Tiny’s Bill Learn more & take action: tinysbill.com | https://c.org/HP4ctWyGxz #TinysBill #Transparency #Accountability #ServiceDogRights
