My name is Jocelin, and I want to share something real with you. For the last several months, people have seen me posting, advocating, sharing updates, and fighting for Tiny’s Bill. But what they haven’t seen is everything happening behind the scenes…the long nights, the legal research, the trauma, the setbacks, and the strength it takes just to keep showing up every day. Tiny’s Bill isn’t just a project. It’s not “just a petition.” This is my life and my survival. Most people don’t even know what a GRAMA request is. To be honest, neither did I until all of this happened. It isn’t some simple form you print out and sign. It takes dates, documentation, record tracking, legal language, certified mail, and hours of digging just to get one agency to acknowledge that you exist. Behind every single document, there are hours of: • searching through old phone logs • organizing photos and evidence • reviewing legal deadlines • reading laws I should’ve never needed to learn • recreating timelines that should’ve never happened • and gathering the proof that most people never save — but I always did. Why? Because something terrible happened. Because my service dog Tiny was hurt. Because my family was traumatized. Because our business was damaged. Because the truth matters. And because no one should ever go through what we did. Tiny is not just a dog. She is my medical equipment. She alerts before seizures. She protects me when my body fails. She is the reason I can function..the reason I’m still here. And even after everything we’ve been through… after being torn from her, after watching my family suffer, after losing nearly everything… I refuse to give up. I’m fighting because service dog teams deserve to be safe. I’m fighting because first responders deserve proper education. I’m fighting because disabled handlers should never fear calling 911. I’m fighting because no one should lose their rights simply because someone didn’t know the ADA. This work isn’t easy. It’s not pretty. It’s exhausting, emotional, and overwhelming. But it is worth it. And I will keep fighting because Tiny and I were born for this. If you’re reading this, thank you…truly…for caring. For supporting us. For believing that what happened matters. For standing with us as we push for change that should’ve existed a long time ago. Please help us keep going. Share our story. Share Tiny’s Bill. Help protect service dog teams across the country. We’re going to finish this. And Tiny will be the reason so many others never have to feel what we felt. Jocelin & Tiny Learn more: www.TinysBill.com
