Don’t women deserve to be paid the same as men for equal work?

Yet, women only earn an average of 78 cents for every $1 earned by men — even though they make up half of the American workforce.

It's time for Congress to pass the Paycheck Fairness Act, key legislation that would close loopholes and level the playing field.

But House Republicans are standing in the way, even while they pretend to rebrand themselves as women friendly. Refusing women equal pay for equal work is the opposite of women friendly and should not be tolerated.
