The proposed bill, which includes an extreme risk protection order (ERPO)provision also known as Red Flag Laws, is a crucial step toward preventing tragedies and ensuring public safety.

Every day, lives are shattered by gun violence. Families lose loved ones, communities mourn, and futures are forever altered. ERPO laws give the courts the power to temporarily restrict firearm access for individuals who pose a risk to themselves or others.
