Today, October 16 2025, Riverside County prosecutors confirmed that Jake Haro — the father of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro — has pleaded guilty to all charges, including murder (KESQ News Channel 3, 10/16/25).
This heartbreaking update marks a major turning point in the fight for justice for Baby Emmanuel — a 7-month-old boy whose short life ended in tragedy and whose body has still not been found.
While one parent has now admitted guilt, there is still no word on the status of Rebecca Haro, and sentencing for Jake Haro is scheduled for November 3.
⚖️ Why This Matters
For months, our community has demanded accountability, transparency, and reform.
The system that failed to protect Emmanuel must change — and that’s exactly why “Emmanuel’s Law” is needed now more than ever.
“Emmanuel’s Law” would create a national registry and unified accountability system to prevent children from being returned to unsafe environments and to ensure that repeated warnings, abuse reports, or prior convictions cannot be ignored again.
