We the people are calling on Congress to pass a much needed stimulus relief bill that meets the needs of the American people! A stimulus that that reflects the needs of the American workforce, the majority must be approved by Congress!

The American people need relief and we need it immediately!!!! Some of our requests are below. 

- Enhanced Unemployment benefits of $600 a week that are retroactive from the last LWA payment. The additional $600 a week is to be made available to everyone receiving regular UI or any unemployment benefits including PUA and will last until March 1st 2021.

- Extend exhausted unemployment claims and PUA benefits until March 1st 2021. Exhausted claims can be extended with FED extensions or by adding those with exhausted claims to PUA.  

- Direct Stimulus payments of $1,200 a month for 3 months to everyone living in America with a social security number. An additional amount of $500 per qualifying child up to age of 17. Any young adults 18 or older claimed as a dependent, that did not get a stimulus in the last round of checks that went out,  mostly college students, should receive their OWN $1200 stimulus payment for the 3 month time period.  Parents would not receive additional $500 for any dependents that are 18 and older since they would be getting their own stimulus payment of $1200. ( Payments from the IRS can be on one check for November 2020, December 2020, and January 2021) 

- Essential worker hazard pay. $10 an hour for essential workers on top of their hourly pay. To be paid until March 1st 2021. Payment not to exceed $600 weekly. 

- Small business relief (forgivable loans and grants) for TRUE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS. No immediate family members of Congress or elected state officials may apply for small business relief. No business owners that own large chains disguised as small businesses may apply. Relief is to be made available to small businesses and micro entrepreneurs with profits under a million to start. (Business owners may NOT receive both PUA and a forgivable loan, they can still be considered for grants)

- Money for state and city budgets. This isn't a red vs blue state issue. It is an American issue, many states need relief and they need it immediately.  Money can include a fund for RENT "forgiveness".  

Mitch McConnell and other Congress members are living in a fantasy land as they talk about the number of "jobs" that have grown in the last few weeks. I'm sure he knows this but many of those jobs are temporary and a lot of them are very low paying.

The current administration & Congress are failing the American people. We need to be ready in the future for public emergencies. There are many solutions that we can come up with for the future but sending the American people ONE $1200 check during a PANDEMIC, almost 7 months ago while many businesses are still closed is NOT ACCEPTABLE! The essential workforce, the American workforce needs some relief and it needs it quickly! When you build a house, you start from the bottom and go up. The house will not stand without the essential workforce! 

To the current standing President of the United States Donald Trump, PLEASE push Congress, both Republican's and Democrats, to do the right thing and pass a stimulus. BE THE HERO that the American people need right now. 70 million people voted for you, they are counting on you to do the right thing for this country. America is one of the only countries that has NOT provided adequate relief to it's people. Be the hero that the people need right now!
