Animal Cruelty within Pasig City has not yet put to end. Animals continued suffering because of the maltreatment and abuse that people did to them. According to an article, only 10% of puppies and kittens end up in good, loving homes. Many dogs and cats end up as strays, while a number of owned pets are neglected due to financial difficulties and the owner’s ignorance on the proper care of  dogs and cats.

You know why we choose to make this petition? 

To prevent further cruelty to animals, particularly stray dogs and cats, we must educate ourselves and our children. If you witness animal cruelty within your place, please report it to the authorities. We can also save animals by rescuing them or financially donating to some animal welfare organizations in order to save their lives from animal cruelty. Let us work together to protect stray animals and educate others on how to stop hurting animals and what to do if they witness animal cruelty.

Putting stop to animal cruelty will bring positive effect not just in our city but in nearby cities as well. People who live in different cities will notice that our city establishes this petition. They will try to do the same thing in their own city and when this happens we can finally stop animal abuse. We just didn't stop the animal abuse in our city. We also raised awareness about it and if these happen our city will be recognized and will bring positive impact in our municipality.
