Pasdaran as a terrorist organization for the EU

Pasdaran as a terrorist organization for the EU
Il problema
We call on the Council of the European Union and the Member States to include the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC / Pasdaran) on the EU list of terrorist organizations, and to act consistently against its networks of power.
The Pasdaran are not merely a military force. They are the backbone of the regime: they repress at home, strike abroad, and control strategic economic resources.
1) Internal repression
When the Iranian people take to the streets to demand freedom and dignity, the response is brutal: arrests, torture, sexual abuse, death sentences, and killings.
The Pasdaran and their affiliated bodies are among the key instruments of this repressive machinery.
2) External projection and destabilization
The Iranian regime fuels instability through armed networks and paramilitary alliances in multiple countries, contributing to a cycle of violence that devastates civilians and institutions.
3) Economic power and corruption
The Pasdaran do not rule only through weapons; they also rule through money.
Through conglomerates, affiliated companies, and opaque networks, they exert extensive control over strategic sectors of the Iranian economy, turning the economy into an instrument of power: to finance repression, evade sanctions, and preserve privileges and impunity.
For this reason, generic sanctions are not enough.
What is needed is to strike at one of the central nodes: the organization that uses terror, violence, economic coercion, and corruption to keep the system in place.
