The upcoming mid-term election will be one of the most crucial elections in modern history, if not ever. The endeavor to elect individuals who represent the real majority of citizens is hanging in the balance.
What can you do? No matter where you live – speak to your neighbors about whether they are registered to vote and whether they will vote in the upcoming election. You need not confront partisan politics. If given the opportunity to discuss candidates certainly do so. You will need to have done your homework on those candidates you support, why, and how they differ from their opponent.
Please don't stop with your neighbors. Ask people that you meet in a non-confrontational environment and ask them the same two questions. Ask the bagger at your grocery store, the checkout clerk too. Ask students at the local college, your friends, and acquaintances. The local coffee bar or where ever the opportunity presents itself.
If you can join the campaign for the candidate of your choice; Attend rallies, signings, hold a housewarming, put up signs, donate. Do what you can to propel your candidate to office.
The reality is YOU are going to make the difference in 2018.
