Lew Friedland was approached by Pasco County to consider selling his property to the Environmental Lands Department. Despite the property being bordered on three sides by Environmental Lands, Mr. Friedland said no. The application to mine the site is proceeding and it is anticipated that hearings will begin in July. We will continue the fight. However a call for your attendance at County meetings will be made and will be vital. Counting this petition, letters of protest and paper petitions over 2000 people have expressed their anger at this outrageous rape of the land. Thank you for your support!
