China has long been simmering for full control of Hong Kong not just politically, but also culturally since the handover. A variety of tactics have been used by the Chinese government in collaboration with the Hong Kong SAR. Mass immigration of mainland Chinese, teaching Chinese language in Beijing-style mandarin are amongst of them. Removing royal emblems of historical post boxes throughout Hong Kong is another example being less aware of. Now, they are trying to replace our long tradition of British marching steps with the Communist Chinese-style military steps. This is what British Nationals in Hong Kong are facing. Not just them but their children are those seriously affected because they have no choice but to accept Chinese-style education. It will be too late for Britain to help these people once they are grown up as individuals with no difference from a mainland Chinese.
