Myself and thousands others are absolutely mortified with recently finding out that ponies and horses are being wrongfully slaughtered to be used as meat for human consumption!! This is really upsetting and angers myself and others so much! 
Horses are much loved animals and a lot more than just animals. They are companions, they help with many things such as disabilities and mental health and a great source of therapy. 
Horses have so much talent and intelligence and it’s such as shame that it all goes to waste! There are many people that are willing to re-home them even just to know that it would save their lives. Horses are very loyal and forgiving animals, even after some have been unfortunate enough to suffer abuse, with the help of rescue centres and other people they are shown lots of love and care and they learn to love and trust again despite being abused in the past. 
They deserve so much more than being thrown in a slaughter house and being murdered in the least humane way and used for human consumption! 
They are worth much more and deserve to be given a chance in life!
