Gay marriage has been legalized in the United States of America, as well as over eighteen other countries.

However, in SIngapore, there is a law criminalizing the way a male consummates his love for his male partner. And in a survey conducted two years ago, more than fifty percent of four thousand Singaporeans were not supportive of same-sex marriage.

But I believe that love is love. We are all equals, and everyone should be free to marry whoever they want to, with no laws dictating who a person can or can't love. If the United States can accept same-sex marriage, I believe that Singapore, too can follow.
