The HRD ministry wants to reduce the portion of ncert books, prescribed by cbse, by 50 percent. This will result in cbse students being behind the students of other boards. We need to compete with the world. We need world class syllabus not to just compete in the country but in the world. This decrease in portion will result in a huge change in the Indian education system. Lot of changes will be done in curriculum of competitive exams. India is already behind in terms of quality education in the world. How can we compete with less portion?
