In 2019/2020 alone, there were 275 homicides involving a knife or sharp instrument recorded by the police.  

Children are being killed all to often and the sentences their murders get does not reflect the value of the life's taken or the impact it as on the families. 

People are going out with knifes taking people's life's and still have the luxury of getting out and LIVING there life's where is the justice in that? A life should mean life! 

In 2010 my 17 year old brother was killed by a monster with a knife, that monster is due for release this year just 11 years on, he won't even be 30! He should not be given the opportunity to start a new life or start a family when he has taken that away from not just his victim but his victims family! 

If a life sentence really ment a life sentence then maybe we would start seeing less and less knife crime.
