Ban fireworks except for licensed events on 5th November and New Year’s Eve

The Issue

Bonfire night is 5th November. Fireworks are let off everyday for almost a 2  week period around 5/11. The distress caused to wild animals, pets, horses, the elderly and those suffering from PTSD is immense and unnecessary. I would like to campaign for fireworks to be available only for licensed events on 5th November and New Year’s Eve. Every year, countless animals are harmed intentionally by fireworks and this could be prevented if the general public were not able to buy fireworks and many more unintentionally- it is time to stop. They should not be on sale for the general public. Please support this by signing this petition. 100,000 signatures are needed to get this debated in Parliament. Please help make it happen.
