The Recall MP Act 2015 was brought about to remove MP's from their seat of power. If found to have been convicted of a criminal offence or been found guilty of providing false or misleading information for allowance claims under the Parliamentary Standards Act  2009.
In light of the last 3 years and the debacle that is Brexit, I believe it needs amending. Too many MP's, my own included,  have continually gone against the wishes of the majority of their constituents and voted against leaving the EU. 

17.4 million people need to sign this petition so we can amend the recall mp act in order that we can actually start the petition process to have them removed.  Currently only MP's can begin this process. They're not going to recall themselves are they? We're suffering as a result and are stuck with them for 5 years even when they are blatantly going against the wishes of those who voted for them in good faith, to act on their behalf and in their best interests. Not only this but they are refusing to hold a general election when it's evident that it's what the majority of us are calling for.  They've even been calling for it themselves, the last few years but only when it suits and they think they have a chance of winning.  Now, when they know they're going to lose their seats they refuse.  How convenient!!!!

This affects all of us, Brexiteers and Remainers alike. They're serving themselves not us, the hard working people and communities who voted them in. We need to be able to hold them accountable and this petition would at the very least force them into talking about it in the house of parliament.  Thus letting them know that we are far from happy and that they will lose their seat at the next election if they do not start to act in a proper and decent way in accordance with the wishes of the public that voted them in in the first place.
