Please help us save our beloved tennis court here at Vellano Park in Chino Hills. This is the most beautiful public tennis court in Southern California & it is being turned into a pickle ball court.

One of the city’s reasons for doing this was “no one plays here”… yeah okay what about all of us who do? The other courts in Chino Hills are already crowded & removing this court will only make that problem worse. They could have added lights to this tennis court & made it better or even just built the pickle ball court elsewhere. 

It is being reported that $100k is being used to fund the conversion of the tennis court. This is a huge park.

People could still play pickle ball on the tennis court or even the basketball court but not vise-versa.
