Me and my friends were so excited when sheldon skate park finally opened ,the park was perfect .We had our own place to skate that wasn't to far from home and gave us kids and adults something to do on days off or after school with our friends and families . Unfortunately now that the park had been open for two years the park department wants to bury this amazing park due to damages caused by vandalism . Park department supervisor said city council approved the shutting down the of the park for 2 or 3 months for now . It's estimated 80k in damages and they are now dumping sand loads in the park . Although it is unfortunate that our park has been vandalized , we cannot let that stop the park from being open , other people that did nothing other than enjoy the park now have nowhere to go to skate , We have to find a different solution to this issue and we still like our park to remain open . Please keep Sheldon open !!
