I’m a student at Parkrose Highschool and I came to tell you how exhausted all of our students are day after day. we’ve been online the last 2 weeks due to staffing shortages due to the Covid 19 variant. we will be back in person this upcoming week but we have finals that have been pushed from 3 days to 2 days. A lot of our students are overwhelmed and drained not counting a large percentage who have had a positive case of Covid 19. seeing my classmates absolutely drained sadness me. I’ve talked with many and a good solution would be to cancel finals this year. I know that may sound like a lot but what will it take for adults to listen to us. we are drowning in work and we could get so much more quality work in if we canceled finals this year. I know this is a long shot but please please sign this in hopes that they get canceled. After this gets to 100 signatures I will send this to the principal and hope for the best.  We are drained and want to show that we are still pushing but we need a break.
