Patient privacy at Parkland/UT Southwestern is a joke. It has been over TWO months since I faxed a change of address to (what I thought was) Parkland's Legal Department. This utter embarrassment of a publicly (county) funded health facility still hasn't gotten adequate attention from Dallas Commissioner Garcia. Brenda Neel Hight, Parkland's (in-house) attorney, deliberately used another (unknown) person's contact details on the letter head in her response to me. NO ONE has been able to tell me to whom that contact information belongs. I faxed my private and personal contact change info and I want to know who received it! How incompetent! They lose my 178 page medical record (LITERALLY LOST!), allow random people to barge into my exam room (one was a building contractor) and now this? I say to close them down!
