Petition updateParkland Hospital Physician Loses a 178-Page Patient Medical Record and County Does Nothing!Texas Medical Board Assigns My Case to an Investigator
Paul StubbsGarland, TX, United States
May 22, 2013
Recently, I received notice from the Texas Medical Board stating that after reviewing the evidence I provided, my case will be now assigned to an investigator. One of Parkland's attorneys, Brenda Neel Hight finally allowed me to speak to her on the phone too. Previous conversations with her included Ms. Hight constantly stepping on me when I attempted to talk. Apparently, she contends the loss of my medical records (approx 178 pages) is no big deal, therefore constituting no "damages" to me as a patient. Ms. Hight's defense tactics include, but are not limited to, speaking louder and louder over any and all my attempts to talk, speaking more quickly, disallowing me to say a word and her vicious and overt attitude to BULLY me over the phone. UT Southwestern Medical Center Defense Attorney and former Asst Attorney General for Texas, Timothy Boughal is just as rude and pushy over the phone. Apparently, no one believes losing medical records is a big deal....so sad and LAME!
