Is it fair for those that are hearing impaired to have to travel 4-6 hours (one way) from home to be able to view a movie where closed captioning devices are available? NO IT'S NOT!!!!! Some hearing impaired simply don't have the means or the ability to travel that far and it's just not fair to force them to. The hearing impaired should be able to walk into any local movie theatre and enjoy the same show their non-hearing impaired friends/relatives/spouses are. With the advances that have been made with technology there are devices that are available to theatre owners for purchase that would be compatable with there current systems.  I know Sony makes glasses that allows the hearing impaired wearer to see closed captioning.  Please help me make this happen - on behalf of my cousin Jeremy and on behalf of all the hearing impaired, their friends and their families - please sign this petition!
