On August 12, 2019 A dog was found by a patrol officer chained to a tree in Paris Texas.  She was severely emaciated, and was in "the worst shape he'd ever seen."  The dog was taken in by a rescue group and was taken to an emergency veterinary hospital where she received round the clock medical care.  Unfortunately the dog, named Sunshine died two days after being confiscated.  She was just too far gone for the medical teams to save her life.  The person/people that did this to her should be held accountable for what they did to this helpless animal that cannot speak for itself.  What she endured was horrific.  Please sign the petition to let the Sheriff's office and district attorney know that these people should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
