After being accused of rape, Austin Anderson has been expelled from the Festus R-6 public school in Festus, MO. The case has not been brought to trial yet. By being expelled from school Austin has been removed from sports teams and has lost his opportunities for scholarships post graduation. This petition is to state that public school system reacted prematurely, the legal system of our nation says "innocent until proven guilty", and yet the school system has decided that since he's been accused to remove him from school. Austin should be reinstated into school, allowed to make up the work he missed, and allowed back on the sport teams he was on. Should the court system find him guilty, that is the time for the school system to react.
