Remove Dr. Liz Fagen as Superintendent of DCSD

Remove Dr. Liz Fagen as Superintendent of DCSD
The Issue
The superintendent of Douglas County School District, Elizabeth Fagen, has brokered a climate of distrust and anger. She and her leadership team funnel funds away from schools and into administration, buying unnecessary advertisements and partnering with ineffective third party vendors to attempt to effect change in the school district . Experienced teachers are leaving in droves over the abuses and excesses of this draconian management style. Dr. Fagen was a mistake that was quickly realized, leading the district to unseat 3 of 7 board members during the most recent board of education elections. However, despite widespread anger and frustration throughout the district, her tactics and processes have not changed. This petition seeks the approval of the of Douglas County School District parents to press the DCSD board of education to remove Dr. Fagen before the end of her contracted term of employment.
