Ministerial Hearing Briefs - read the report for yourself

BCC management claims that recent media reporting regarding actions taken against BCC were not accurate.  Media outlets obtained a copy of the Annual Report Hearing Brief, which outlines some of the investigations and actions that have been taken against and by BCC over the last few months. Read it for yourself to understand the facts - the section on BCC governance is from page 159.

BCC parents say special needs weren’t met

Another article published by the RiotAct reported about a family with a child at the school that their 'special needs child did not receive full learning support at Brindabella Christian College and that increasingly large classes are sometimes without adequate supervision has spoken out about the impact the school’s governance problems have on students.'  While the parents did not blame teachers who they considered very caring, they said the governance at BCC had a lot to answer for, especially concerning how special needs funding was being used by the school. The parents have subsequently moved their children to another school where they are reportedly flourishing.
