Two media articles have come out over the last week, critical of governance at BCC.
A Riot Act online article published last Tuesday reported 'major discrepancies in the school’s record-keeping, particularly around student numbers'. A separate article published in the Canberra Times on Saturday revealed the story of a father who found his disabled son, who was in year 2 at BCC, locked in a classroom. The incident, which was investigated by the ACT Civil and Administrative Tribunal criticised the school for 'tardy and incomplete responses, excuses and explanations by the school'.
