It is time that the Government takes an equitable approach to Immigration.

There are thousands and thousands of NZ Citizens and Residents with parents that don't hold NZ Citizenship or Residence therefore aren't allowed to join their Kiwi family for a visit.

Despite the fact that our Kiwi counterparts living in Australia are able to come and visit their loved ones in NZ after a year of closed borders and pain, those who have immigrated and integrated into NZ society are still not allowed to bring their parents to visit them in NZ.

Through this petition, we urge the New Zealand Government and The House of Representatives to reopen the Parent Visitor Visa category for parents of NZ Citizens and Permanent Residents who have been fully vaccinated and meet all the Visa and Travel requirements to be allowed to come to NZ.
