I suffer from Narcolepsy with Cataplexy from time to time. I suffer from debilitating sleep disorders which renders me incapacitated at best to collapsing without warning. I have been prescribed medication but was ineffective. Since October 2015 my situation has become worse. More attacks, hallucinations, talking to myself/someone etc. Since October there has been no suitable medication that my Consultant has been able to give me.

I am desperate. 

I have heard of a drug called Xprem (Sodium Oxybate) but because my condition is rare, Norfolk NHS Trust/NHS Trust Papworth Hospital will not prescribe due to the cost.

I am a lone voice on here but I am sure there are others suffering, and not been given the option to at least try this medication. Where it has been used it has brought relief to many.
