Unlike retailers, with their holiday shopping season kicking off on Black Friday (now encroaching on Thanksgiving), Papa John's is a pizza business, and opening on Thanksgiving and Christmas would NOT generate sales, but force employees to sacrifice their time with their loved ones and friends to make the company a measly few hundred dollars per store. Everyone deserves the chance to be with their family on these holidays. If Papa John's wishes to force employees to work on this national holiday, then it should compensate accordingly with holiday pay (of time and a half) out of gratitude and respect, since it is currently not offered on ANY national or religious holiday.
