This year, the COVID-19 outbreak has affected the lives of so many people. The students of WCHS have been working tirelessly since the ages of 4-6 to finally complete their schooling. As someone who graduated in 2018, having a graduation ceremony of any kind is the most memorable thing I have from high school, and it was verification to me that, yes, I really did it. The seniors of 2020 are missing out on an experience that can never be replaced. Not only do they not get to walk, but that means they don’t get to switch their tassels, they don’t get to hear the applause from their teachers, friends and family as they walk across the stage and feel that feeling of utter accomplishment and love. They don’t get to take senior pictures outside with their friends in their dresses, there’s no after party. Please, do something for the seniors. If it’s not in the near future, please just do something in the future for these hardworking and dedicated students of West Clermont High School.
