In Washington State, landlords can legally ask for First, Last AND Deposit from potential renters before they can move into property. In many states this is illegal! In many states only First months rent and Deposit (usually equal to monthly rent) is the legal requirement. Many, many families are displaced or homeless due to the high costs of securing a rental property. Times are hard, economy is struggling. Everyone deserves a home they can afford.
