Lost the battle for medical dogs

With a heavy, heavy heart, I am sad to report that we have lost our battle for the medical dogs and one of the behaviorally challenged dogs whose aggression had reportedly escalated following recent spay surgery. HHS has claimed that they were medically challenged, and that may have been so, but reports I would get personally from volunteers would argue that they were not suffering but happy to see people, just waiting for their forever family to show up. Unfortunately, the HHS effort to find Good Samaritan adopters was not enough and none of them were adopted. The good news is two -part: 1) they are in a place where no one, not even big corporation execs can harm them, and 2) we still hope for the remaining behaviorally challenged (and arguably treatable) dogs Scout and Hanohano! In light of this most recent development, I am feeling like we're losing time for them too. If anyone has a suggestion for me, please comment to this update.
