Dogs Made Available for Private Adoption

Thank you, all, again for signing and supporting this petition that so many volunteers have so truly believed in. The dogs in question were recently made available for private adoption, meaning interested good samaritans are asked to call (808) 356-2229 to schedule an appointment or to get more info. HOWEVER, our concern is not over. The dogs are only available for this adoption for a limited time, so HHS might be putting us back at square one on Tuesday, June 6. I must express my deep concern that the HHS effort to modify behaviors via a program appears very half-hearted, and because they lack experts in this specialized behavior field, the program may also be utterly lacking. HHS had promised volunteers that they would make an effort to use social media (their Facebook page and website) to make the public aware of this adoption opportunity. Sadly, just a single post was made a few days ago. I ask that you continue to stand with me and other volunteers in prayer and in hopes that a better solution for the dogs will turn up. I also ask that everyone prays over the hearts of the people that make the decisions in HHS. May the solution show up with impeccable timing.
