City of Palestine vs. Jerry Laza & Laza vs. the City of Palestine cases are on the City Council meeting tonight Tuesday 05/26/2020.
This is just one more opportunity for the City Council to do the right thing and go to the negotiation table and work out a fair and equitable deal with Jerry Laza, Lawnmower Man. Stop continuing to pad the pockets of Attorneys.

For the Palestine City Council:
It is never too late to do the right thing for the right reasons and not continue to the do the wrong thing just because you can.
Almost exactly 2 years ago your representative, Attorney Ron Stutes, admitted under oath in a Court of Law that he did not have your authorization to file the law suit against Jerry Laza as required by the City Charter.
I quote from that Court Transcript "The City Council was made aware of the lawsuit and has raised no objection it being continued". Now is the time to make that right.
There is no ordinance or resolution authorizing the suit & it was filed prior to City Council notification.
