He teaches Italian Language Arts and Social Studies at the Middle school, was a community and group social worker and he was also a social administrator. Ermete, a long time nonviolent and eco-pacifist activist, founded in 1986 the Greens of Naples and at present he's the Coordinator for Naples of the Italian Environmentalist Organization VAS (Verdi Ambiente e Società) and the President of the Rete Campana per la Civiltà del Sole e della Biodiversità.
