Unfortunately I am writing this petition after a recent demise of beloved friend and a young Professor and her husband (who left an infant behind), both of them passed away on the same passageway a day ago, after colliding with uncontrollable Heavy traffic on the same road.

In order to remind our government who happens to be completely unaware of the fact that its respectable citizens are being killed on a regular and daily basis due to the under development of one of the most busiest roads in the Capital of Country.

This petition is about one of the most important and busiest roads, IJP road which connects Islamabad and Rawalpindi.  

The road is serving less of its purpose (of connecting the two cities and serving a quick route from Rawalpindi to Isl and vice versa) and more of an expanding graveyard.

We as the citizens of Rawalpindi and Islamabad, demand:

1. Reconstruction of IJP road into rugged concrete road for sustaining all types of traffic.
2. Rehabilitation of Street lights, road markings and separate lanes and regulations for heavy traffic. 
3. Establishment of 24/7 surveillance through traffic cams at all junctions of the road to find culprits of road accidents. 
4. Maintenance of Green Belt along the sides of the road. 
5. Proper signage and traffic.
6. Constant Maintenance of puddles formed on the roads. 

This petition serves as an intense reminder towards the sloppy Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA). We as the citizens Rawalpindi and Islamabad demand for this issue of utmost importance to be resolved immediately. 

WE HOPE IMRAN KHAN WOULD LOOK INTO THIS AND TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.
