Pakistan floods appeal

The Issue

Monsoon rains in Pakistan have claimed significantly more than 1200 lives, including 500 children in Pakistan.

Pakistan has seen a lot more than 80% from the normal monsoon rainfall in 15 days, with millions afflicted with flash floods and landslides. The country is on its 8th monsoon cycle. In the provinces of Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, thousands are without food and shelter.

Significantly more than 1000 people have handed down and a whole lot more are injured. Large numbers are being out of place.

The whole district is submerged, leaving no-one on the drinking water. Balochistan is completely isolated from the rest of the country. The complete road and train infrastructure was destroyed.

The flash floods have killed at the very least 1200 people and displaced significantly more than 500,000 people, officials said.

  • About 1200 of the 2200 deaths have been reported since now.
  • 40 million people have been impacted, with 817,678 living in relief camps
  • More than 120,000 homes have been damaged by the floods.
  • 170 bridges connecting cities and districts are destroyed.

Tens of thousands of agricultural lands and crops were flooded, and a large number of livestock also died. People have lost their livelihoods and are now totally dependent on humanitarian assistance. People are in need of water, food, medical assistance, and shelter.

As always, MarinesIT is on the front lines this year, providing humanitarian aid from the very beginning. Our dedicated workers are working tirelessly rescuing people by boat and providing them with ration packs, warm cooked meals, shelters, and clean drinking water to survive. We are also carrying out medical camps, providing medical assistance to those affected and injured.

Your support is their only hope
