The Issue

Throughout counties in Virginia, high schools show immense spirit and creativity through painted parking spaces.  Students express their love for their schools and their identity through these artistic expressions and freedom when detailing their own parking spaces.  Despite the immense influence this activity has throughout the state - and even the country - Liberty High School stays outdated and continues to limit students' unification through tight regulations, just to keep these parking spots "clean".   Students not only express themselves, but bring color and spirit to their school.  Liberty has always been an advocate for school spirit and is adamant about being involved with whatever they have to offer.  Furthermore, they especially highlight this through murals that represent their spirit across the walls of their school, but we stop at painting our parking spot that we pay a crazy amount of money for?  Why should students be limited by a school that emphasizes that there aren't any limits?  By signing this petition, you advocate for the students of LHS and show that Administration needs to allow their pupils to fully indulge in school spirit.
