The current road markings in Provo, Utah are hazardous to those use these roads every day. In dark or wet conditions, these lines nearly disappear. 

These road lines ensure the safety of travelers, aid in navigation, and keep traffic flowing freely. Without these guides, the roads become unsafe for travel. Whether it be residents of Provo or people visiting, it puts them in danger when weather conditions are less than ideal.
