Paint a second turning lane at Park Vista Community High School

Paint a second turning lane at Park Vista Community High School
The Issue
Regarding a plethora of accidents at Park Vista Community High School, the school has enabled the assistance of law enforcement to redirect the traffic flow.
However, the lanes are inadequately painted. The school only includes one painted lane; however, in the morning for drop off that lane only consists of student drop offs in the car line a bit further down. Therefore, this lane is entirely blocked off.
As a result, students are forced to go in the second lane. Students turn on their turn signals, as to enter the student parking lot they have to pass by the car line. However, with new enforcement by law, any student who enters the school through these measures are being pulled over.
This is unfair, as the school should be wary of financial difficulties that students may face, and the implication of a ticket due to inadequate painted lanes is grossly exaggerated.
The goal of this petition is to add another turning lane to the northbound traffic on S Jog Road to curb traffic, rather than unfairly ticketing students through intimidation by law.
Through these endeavors, I have endured a warning from officers as well as getting into a right accident outside of campus due to a lack of control of the traffic flow. This has severely impaired my ability and confidence in driving to school, and has discouraged me and many others from even going.
According to research surrounding this topic, in order to get another lane painted the school would need to reach out to the DOT, in which would conduct a traffic study during peak hours in order to see the necessity of implementing such a change in lane. As students already use this lane for turning, a sign can simply be placed that the right turning lane goes straight at the school intersection; whereas, the original right turning lane must turn.
This intersection would imitate that of Hagen Ranch Road and Lantana, in which there is two right turning lanes. In an effort to curb accidents and implement protective measures; the newly added turning lane should only be able to turn on explicitly green in order to keep student walkers and parent drop offs at a safe distance.
