Mary Bier - 3RD REQUEST IGNORED TO SCHEDULE A STUDY SESSION WITH BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
 
We have requested 3 times this past week, for a response from our city council to request a study session with B & G club, with no response.

The community was asking for updates, here is my 3rd request written below:

Subject: Checking in again - Following up on Study Session

Hi Mary,

Happy Friday, what a roller coaster yesterday was!

We just wanted to check in with you again, since Monday night, we are looking to hear when you would be able to schedule a study session, initiated by the city council, including the community and the decision makers at the B & G club.

We would like to convey our deep concern that any upcoming news of staying open is a strong delay tactic, and we suspect this will be a way to get the heat off of them, and shutter the doors in 2 years.

We need you and the city council's voice, and leverage, to help prevent this from happening. We need your influence, in order to demand transparency on behalf of the B & G club, and what their LONG TERM plans are.

Let's join together, and fight for our children. Please help us protect this crucial, and vital, resource for our children and community.

Looking forward to hearing back from you, and to confirm when a study session will be scheduled.
