OZ1 Airsoft team Australia are seeking an expression of interest from people who would be willing to travel, support and play Airsoft here in Australia. We are working hard behind the scenes to make this a reality for all Australians but need your support. You may remember our QLD petition, well we have been gaining political support from political parties that have requested we do the petition again but on an Australia wide level. Last time we run the petition for 24hrs and gained 1300 signatures which was an excellent effort and we appreciate the help that everyone gave and for sharing around. This time we will run it for 7 days and want to raise that number significantly. We are looking at creating an event to showcase the sport in Australia not only to help with future legislation but also invite our politicians, councils and police along to have a go so as so create a positive image and to help engage discussion with them. This is by no means a promise that an event will happen, it is more of a data collection exercise to see whom in the Australian Airsoft community would commit to attend an event in Australia where ever that may be if one was to be organised? Even though it is a data collection exercise we encourage you to share this far and wide , because at the end of the day its the numbers that count. Its your support from the past and now that will make it so steps can be taken to move forward and potentially make an event like this happen in the future.
