The word ‘Ethnic’ has been used to describe (Non-White) people based on their differences from European western culture, when in actuality the word is meant to refer to the culture and customers of any peoples. I would like to change this definition (to not include the words race, western culture, etc) for the generations who follow, so they will not feel pigeonholed or have a sense of inferiority when hearing this word.
